Our present knowledge and our prophecies are but partial, but when love’s perfection arrives, the partial will fade away.
1 Corinthians 13:9-10 TPT
Therefore, the Lord himself will give you a sign: See, the virgin will conceive, have a son, and name him Immanuel.
Isaiah 7:14
God is a God of mystery. He is unseen yet so involved in the smallest detail that we are unable to wrap our minds around what the impact on our lives is. His love is ever present and ever impactful.
God often provides clues and even provides prophecies of what is to come. Full knowledge of the future isn’t typically given. But God says to wait and the partial will fade away.
He often reminds us of all of this in signs that He freely gives. Unfortunately, we may not be paying attention to these signs or the prophesies.
The Jewish people were given numerous signs and many prophesies to tell them about the savior of mankind. The Jews studied these signs and then rejected God’s own son in disbelief that in their presence stood the very person that God’s words promised. The interesting part of man’s failure to see was it started with the church leaders who were blinded from seeing the reality God set before them.
Man finds noise at every turn and is blinded from hearing from God and seeing what God puts in front of him. This is true regardless of how “religious” a person is.
Stop for an hour, many hours, a full day or more and get into silence for the sole purpose of hearing from God. Instead of listening with your ears, listen with your heart. Read the Bible and journal the things that are placed in your mind.
God is a loud God with much to say and much to show you. Learn to listen for His words, His subtle nudging, the dreams He places in your sleep and the visions.
This sort of listening will change your circumstances.
