Always be eager to present yourself before God as a perfect and mature minister, without shame, as one who correctly explains the Word of Truth.
2 Timothy 2:15 TPT
A perfect and mature minister with shame requires a thought process that is not common to man when he looks deeply into his heart. A man is good at pride and speaking from this place. One uses pride often to communicate to other men. But God will not respect that mannerism when a man presents himself to God.
God asks us to know Him and to seek Him. Given time, we learn much about God and how He sees us as His sons with His power and authority. Shame is not present, nor is regret. As a son of God, we lack nothing. Living in this way creates a maturity and a confidence that can only be found when one understands who he really is.
Daily spending time with God provides more and more of this confidence and allows us to know God’s word and to share it with clarity and truth.
